Wall Art Anni

€1,400.00

Named after Anni Albers, the pioneering textile artist and Bauhaus master who redefined weaving as a form of modern art. Her work translated thread into structure, rhythm, and architecture — balancing precision with experimentation. Her legacy stands for material intelligence, repetition, and the quiet strength of geometric order.

The Anni Wall Panel reflects this woven sensibility through its grid-like composition of raised and recessed cubes. The rhythmic arrangement creates a tactile surface that shifts with light and shadow, echoing the interlacing of warp and weft. Crafted in hand-applied microcement, subtle tonal variations enhance the sense of depth and movement across the plane. Both structured and expressive, Anni transforms the wall into a contemporary textile in relief — architectural, refined, and deeply material.

Care & Maintenance

Microcement is a refined, tactile material that will age beautifully when treated with care. To preserve the surface and its finish over time, a few simple habits are essential.

Always protect the tabletop from excessive heat, sharp edges, or heavy impact. Hot cookware, knives, or other hard objects should never be placed directly on the surface. The use of coasters and placemats is strongly recommended during everyday use.

When using a decorative tablecloth, we advise placing a waterproof or plastic protective layer underneath. This extra barrier helps prevent liquids or food residues from penetrating the surface. Whether a tablecloth is used or not, the table should be wiped clean after every meal to avoid residue buildup.

Avoid prolonged contact with acidic substances such as citrus juices, vinegar, or aggressive cleaning agents, as these may affect the finish. In case of spills, clean the surface immediately using a soft, slightly damp cloth.

For regular maintenance, gentle cleaning is sufficient. Use a damp cloth with mild soap if needed, and dry the surface afterwards. Do not use abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or rough sponges, as these can scratch or dull the finish.

Our microcement tables are designed for indoor use, unless you request otherwise. They may be placed under a covered porch, but should never be exposed to rain or outdoor weather conditions. If used in semi-outdoor settings, ensure the table is brought indoors or fully protected during wet or humid conditions.

With mindful use and proper care, your table will maintain its character and quality for many years to come.
